Scuba Equipment Policy

At Cozumel Diving Trip, we provide high-quality, professionally maintained scuba equipment for use during all training sessions, guided dives, and excursions. To ensure proper care and accountability, the following policy applies to all clients using our rental gear:

Equipment Responsibility Policy By participating in any dive activity with Cozumel Diving Trip, clients agree to the following terms:


Client Responsibility:

Clients are fully responsible for the scuba equipment assigned to them throughout their dive activity.


Loss or Damage

 In the event of loss, theft, or damage (beyond normal wear and tear) to any piece of equipment, the client agrees to pay the full replacement cost of the item.


Current Market Value 

The charge for lost or damaged equipment will be based on the actual market price on the date of the incident. Pricing will be verified using reputable sources available online at the time of the event.


Covered Equipment Includes

Dive Computer (e.g., Cressi Leonardo or equivalent)
Regulator
Buoyancy Control Device (BCD)
Wetsuit
Mask
Fins


Proper Care

Clients are expected to use the equipment responsibly and follow all safety and handling instructions provided by our staff.


Inspection and Reporting

Equipment will be checked before and after each dive. Clients must immediately report any issues before using the gear.
